Singapore—The Kalimantan low calorific value thermal coal market picked up speed amid an uptick in trading activities, but traders remain wary about the Chinese import port quotas available, sources said Sept. 29. A trade for an October loading Supramax vessel cargo of Indonesian 4,200 kcal/kg GAR – or 3,800 kcal/kg NAR – coal was heard at $26/mt FOB Kalimantan.
