摘要

Singapore—The Indian government is seeking to ease the approval and permission process in a bid to attract more interests for its commercial coal blocks as the country targets to boost its domestic production in the next three to four years. The country’s Ministry of Coal launched a Project Monitoring Unit, or PMU, to facilitate mine operations and ease approval and permission matters by providing hand-hold guidance and support, according to a statement over the weekend.
