London—Atlantic met coal markets were unchanged Sept. 14 after climbing at the end of the previous week, with limited activity heard as US domestic negotiations continued. A European trader source said he had not seen any fixed price transactions, but added that numerous US mines had been idled, which could be causing some scarcity for some US coals. “We are also starting to see some renewed interest in US coking coals. … Hopefully the momentum continues,” he added.
