Asian PVC markets firmed this week after producers announced their September offers. The CFR China marker rose $70/mt week on week to be assessed at $990/mt Wednesday, while the CFR Southeast Asia marker rose $60/mt over the same period to $1,000/mt and the CFR India marker rose $40/mt to $1,030/mt. Asia's largest PVC producer, Taiwan's Formosa Plastics, Monday hiked its September offer $70/mt from August to $990/mt CFR China, by $80/mt to $1,000/mt CFR Southeast Asia and by $90/mt to $1,030/mt CFR India.
