The US acrylonitrile export price was assessed slightly lower on the week, falling $15 to $1,805/mt FOB USG. Overall supply in the market was heard tight, though supply was heard lengthening since the beginning of the month as a producer was back online after an unplanned outage in early September. Demand was steady, sources said. The last September deals done were at $1,785/mt FOB USG for a large parcel of 15,000 mt and $1,790/mt FOB USG for an unknown quantity, sources said.
