US prices were steady on the week. Domestic contracts for April were not yet settled as producers were pushing for a margin increase while buyers sought lower prices along with the drop in feedstock prices. One PX maker settled with its buyers for April at 78.5 cents/lb ($1,730.14/mt), down 3.5 cents/lb. On a pass-through to PET, this would be about a 2-cent/lb decrease in cost.
