Polypropylene prices in Peru were mixed week on week, market sources said Wednesday, as offers from regional producers, as well as Asia, for the most part continued to show strength amid higher feedstock costs. CFR Peru assessments were flat at $1,1550-1,560/mt for homopolymer, while co-polymer was lowered $20/mt to an assessment of $1,570-1,580/mt on lower offers heard. A US-based trader said he sold an undisclosed volume of homopolymer to Peru this week at $1,550/mt CFR Peru.
