The Asian paraxylene market finished Friday at $1,559.50/mt FOB Korea and $1,584.50/mt CFR Taiwan/China, unchanged from Thursday amid thin trade in the midst of ACP announcements. The market rose $19.50/mt from the previous week. The Asian PX market started this week firm, with traders posting bids for May arrival cargoes prior to announcements of the Asian Contract Price for April.
