Pertamina boosts 2018 upstream investment by 21%

Jakarta-Indonesia’s state-owned Pertamina plans to spend $3.324 billion on its upstream business in 2018, a 21.16% jump year on year, with focus to be on the Mahakam block in East Kalimantan and the Jambaran and Tiung Biru fields. Pertamina will be taking over the Mahakam block from France's Total and Japan's Inpex next year and plans to produce 1.1 Bcf/d of gas, down 14.19% year on year, and 48,000 b/d of condensate, up from 40,770 b/d this year.
