IEA trims global biofuels outlook as eV sales grow

London-World biofuel production is esti- mated to grow by around 16% over the next five years, well above expected growth for oil demand but slightly below previous esti- mates, amid the prospect of a sharp rise in sales of electric vehicles, the International Energy Agency said Wednesday.
