North Dakota breaks oil, gas output records in July

Washington-North Dakota oil and natural gas production set new output records in July, the second straight month of record-setting production in the state, the North Dakota Pipeline Authority said Monday. Statewide oil production averaged 1.44 million b/d in July, up about 17,800 b/d from June’s former record-setting average. Gas production in North Dakota averaged nearly 2.95 Bcf/d in July, up from nearly 2.89 Bcf/d in June, the pipeline authority said.
