摘要

Lagos, Nigeria-Shell has raised concerns over heightened incidences of oil theft and repeated sabotage of oil pipelines in Nigeria’s Niger Delta region, saying the incidents have had a severe impact on production and have contributed to pollution. Shell, whose Nigerian oil production declined by 14,000 b/d of oil equivalent year on year to 617,000 boe/d in 2018, said it lost on average 11,000 b/d of crude to oil thieves last year, an increase of about 20% over the previous year.
