Pemex reverses 14-year decline in oil production in Q3

Houston-Pemex began to reverse a 14-year decline in oil production in Q3 2019, with expectations of further growth through the end of the year, a top official of the Mexican state-controlled oil company said Monday. “After 14 years, Pemex has returned to our growing crude oil production past,” CFO Alberto Velazquez said during a Q3 earnings conference call. “This increasing production will be even more significant in the last quarter of this year, since new fields will start producing.”
