New York-Oil and product futures settled lower Wednesday amid renewed demand growth concerns following weaker economic indicators in Europe and Asia. NYMEX September WTI settled at $55.23/b, down $1.87, and ICE October Brent was at $59.48/b at market close, down $1.82, a slide of 3.3% and 3%, respectively.
