The US’ Apache Corporation has started producing from its Garten satellite field offshore the UK, with oil output of 13,700 b/d and gas output of 15.7 MMcf/d, eight months after making the find, it said Wednesday. The announcement should help offset an overall decline in Apache’s North Sea production, as it focuses more on US shale.
