Gabon’s offshore Tortue oil field set for output expansion

London-BW Offshore has taken an investment decision to expand its Tortue oil development off Gabon, a project which is expected to more than double oil flows from the field in 2020. The Norwegian FPSO specialist said Tuesday it plans to go ahead with a planned Phase 2 development of the field following a successful appraisal program on the asset’s western flank.
