Qingdao Port sees Shandong crude imports stable in 2019

Singapore-China’s Qingdao Port International is confident crude imports by Shandong- based independent refiners next year will remain stable, dispelling concerns the consumers may slow operations in response to increased competition and tighter tax regulations. Shandong refiners were expected to slow operations and imports next year following the start of two large integrated greenfield refineries-Hengli Petrochemical and Zhejiang Petrochemical.
