ExxonMobil moves forward on USGC downstream projects to meet steady demand growth: CEO

New York—ExxonMobil expects 350,000 b/d of increased light, sweet crude oil processing capacity at its three US Gulf Coast refineries by 2023 from its Permian crude production, which will result in an increase in 200,000 b/d of higher value clean product, company CEO Darren Woods said Thursday. This is in addition to the 50,000 b/d of increase light, sweet crude production which came online in 2019 at ExxonMobil’s 502,500 b/d Baton Rouge, Louisiana, refinery.
