摘要

Buenos Aires—Argentina’s federal government has asked the oil sector to sustain oil and natural gas production and refining activities during a 12-day stay-at-home order that began Friday, a latest measure to try to limit the spread of the coronavirus. Argentina’s President Alberto Fernandez announced the obligatory quarantine Thursday, telling the nation of 44 million to stay at home until April 1. The decision follows earlier measures to close schools, international borders and any large gatherings, as well as to suspend flights from hotspots for the coronavirus, such as China, Europe and the US.
