Singapore forges overseas alliances to expedite decarbonization in shipping

Singapore-The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore has formed a Future Fuels Port Network with the the Port of Rotterdam Authority and Japan's Ministry of Land,Infrastructure,Transport and Tourism to accelerate the development of cleaner marine fuels in shipping,the MPA said Oct.6."The port network will align the efforts of signatory partners in driving the development of new fuels across participating ports,"the MPA said in a statement issued during the 21st Singapore International Bunkering Conference and Exhibition,or SIBCON.
