ZPC wins China’s first oil product export license to independent refinery

Singapore—Zhejiang Petroleum & Chemical, or ZPC, has become China’s first independent refiner to win an oil product export license from the country’s Ministry of Commerce, sources told S&P Global Platts. Before ZPC, only state-owned Sinopec, China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC), China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC), Sinochem and China National Aviation Fuel (CNAF) owned state-run oil product export licenses.
