UK’s IGas to shut in 25% of output over price slump

London—UK onshore producer IGas said Friday it would shut in some 600 b/d of oil equivalent in May and June, around 25% of its total production, as it looks to mitigate the impact of continued low prices during the COVID-19 lockdown period. IGas, which produces oil and gas from some 29 fields, predominantly in eastern and southern England, said it would review the situation in mid-June.
