Vitol sees global oil demand recovery led by China,Africa

London-Vitol,the world's largest independent oil trader,expects global oil demand to fall by around 7 million b/d on average in 2020 compared to 2019,with signs of a steady demand recovery in Africa and China.Oil demand will move sideways into next year due to the massive demand shock in terms of jet fuel,which is expected to remain very low for a number of years,according to Chris Bake,an executive committee member of Vitol.
