Chevron eyes increasing oil production in Argentina's Vaca Muerta shale

Buenos Aires-Chevron is taking steps to boost oil production from the Vaca Muerta shale play, a senior executive said Wednesday on a visit to the area of northern Patagonia. Clay Neff, Chevron's president of exploration and production in Africa and Latin America, unveiled the plans in a meeting with Omar Gutierrez, the governor of Neuquen province, home to most of the shale play.
