State run metals consultancyBeijing Antaike has revised up its forecast forChinese refined aluminum demand in 2018to 38.33 million mt from 36.9 million mt, up7.4% year on year.Antaike said despite a recent slowdownin demand growth in the key aluminumconsuming industries in China — theconstruction, transport, electronics andpower sectors, demand from aluminumhousing surface system baffle, aluminumwindows/doors, curtain wall, aluminumstructure bridge, aluminum constructiontemplate and solar energy aluminumextrusion sectors is forecast to grow.
