The Platts weekly South Koreanapot aluminum assessment widened to$80-$90/mt plus LME cash, CIF Busan, onOctober 11 compared with $85-$90/mt onOctober 4.Bid-ask levels widened considerably thisweek, reflecting divided views on the marketoutlook. Market participants cited reasonsfor up- and downward pressure onpremiums in South Korea in equal measure.
