Spot US copper cathodepremiums remained firm this week, withspot COMEX plus 7-7.5 cents/lb seemingly atypical level.A cathode trader said he sold in the pastweek 200 mt of metal for Midwest delivery,net-cash, and noted, “I offered between 7and 7.5 cents and they took it right awaywith no hesitation. So I would say premiumsare trending up, people seem to be adjustingto them.”
