S&P Global Platts assessed the weekly spot 65% grade silicomanganese price at $1,155- $1,165/mt CIF Japan on Thursday, narrowing from $1,150-$1,180/mt last week. Despite India and South Africa extending their lockdowns in the past week to control the spread of COVID-19, silicomanganese prices have not risen further because of prevailing weak demand.
