B2Gold’s Q1 gold production surges

Sydney—Canadian miner B2Gold’s January- March gold production surged due to strong performances from all its operations and no operational issues related to the coronavirus pandemic, the company said Thursday. The Toronto-listed company said firstquarter consolidated gold production was 250,632 oz, which was 7% above what B2Gold had budgeted and 25% higher than a year earlier.
