The Platts Shanxi daily spot alumina assessment fell Yuan 50 ($7.25) on Thursday to Yuan 3,075/mt full-cash terms, compared with Yuan 3,125/mt on Tuesday. There was no assessment on Wednesday as Singapore was closed for the Hari Raya Puasa holiday. The current price also reflected an increase of Yuan 75/mt on the week, and Yuan 285/mt on the month.
