Resolute Mining to acquire Toro Gold for $274 million

London—Australian miner Resolute Mining has signed a binding agreement to buy Toro Gold for $274 million, comprising $130 million in cash and 142.5 million freely tradable Resolute shares, the company said Wednesday. The London-listed gold miner said Toro Gold’s flagship asset is the Mako Gold Mine in eastern Senegal, which in 2018 produced 156,926 oz of gold at an All-In Sustaining Cost, or AISC, of $655/oz.
