China’s Baise Mining Group to raise 2019 aluminum output by 30%

Hong Kong—China’s Baise Mining Group plans to raise its refined aluminum output by 30% to 480,000 mt in 2019, up 30% from realized output of 370,000 mt last year, on its cells running at full annualized capacity, the Baise city government said on its website Monday. With the last electrolytic cell having been put online in July, its refined aluminum plant in Baise, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has been running at its full capacity of 500,000 mt/year, the government said.
