The urban water governance team, headed by Dr Sam Trowsdale, has been focused on understanding the wider implications of water demand in commercial buildings. Post-graduate student Robin Honeyman has recently returned from two months in Sydney working with the Institute for Sustainable Futures, where he examined water management in the green building sector. Another overseas research trip saw Reza Hendrawan build on his experience in the Indonesian water sector to examine a major transition in water infrastructure in Denpasar, Bali as part of his MSc. The team has welcomed a PhD student Maheeja Chiranji, who is developing models for computer aided participatory approaches to urban water governance.
