Rachel recently graduated from Victoria University (BSc - Geography & Environmental Studies) and has a strong interest in hydrology and a passion for snow. ? Pieter Havelaar - environmental monitoring with the Christchurch field team. Pieter previously worked with ECan and ESR in groundwater monitoring and research, and recently completed a Diploma in Environment & Sustainability (Open Polytechnic). ? Ryan Evison - environmental monitoring with the Christchurch field team. Ryan has a BSc in Environmental Science and recently completed his MSc in Physical Geography (groundwater tracer modelling) from Victoria University via a GNS Scholarship. ? Jing Yang - hydrologist in Christchurch, specialising in hydrological processes including surface water-groundwater modelling. Jing has a PhD from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), and engineering degrees in water resources from Wuhan University, China. He has had post-doc positions with ETH, University of Guelph, Canada and the Singapore-MIT Alliance. ? Celine Cattoen-Gilbert - hydrological modeller in Christchurch working on programming hydrological models. Celine has a PhD in mathematics and previously worked with the New Zealand eScience Infrastructure (NeSI) on programming super-computers.
