NIWA's offices at Riccarton were shaken but undamaged by the 22 February Christchurch earthquake. Consequently we were able to return to work once any issues with families and homes etc were dealt with. Our ECan and University of Canterbury colleagues were not so fortunate. We have been able to share our offices and labs with these colleagues.
