Budapest- BorsodChem said it will double the capacity of its toluene diisocyanate (TDI) crystallization unit in Kazincbarcika, Hungary, to meet the increase in global demand for its T65 and T100 TDI grades. "This capacity expansion will allow BorsodChem to meet the strong demand growth and continue to provide stable supply in the coming years," the company noted. Construction of the new unit has begun and start-up is expected in the third quarter of next year.
