Celanese Concludes Debottleneck Projects At Several Engineered Materials Facilities

Dallas— Celanese, on 11 Oct., announced the completion of several key debottlenecking projects and product transfers in the past 12 months at its global manufacturing facilities in its engineered materials business. Celanese completed debottlenecks or product transfers of specific polymer production lines at the following facilities: GUR ultra high molecular weight polyethylene at the Bishop, Texas, and Nanjing, China, sites; Hosta-form/Celcon acetal copolymer at the Bishop plant and Frankfurt, Germany, complex, and Fortron polyphenylene sulphide at the joint venture facility in Wilmington, N.C.
