Arkema Plans Investment Project to Increase Production Capacities for Bio-Sourced PAll

Paris— Arkema said it plans to spend about ?300-million in Asia to boost its global production capacities for bio-sourced poly-amide 11 (PAll) by 50%. Over the next five years, the company expects to build a world-scale plant dedicated to Rilsan PA11 from castor oil. The facility, which will produce both the amino 11 monomer and its polymer, Rilsan PAll, is anticipated to come on stream in late 2021.
