Air Products to Build 'World-Scale' Liquid Hydrogen Plant at LaPorte

LaPorte-Air Products announced plans to build a new "world-scale" liquid hydrogen facility at its LaPorte, Texas, industrial gas facility to meet increasing demand from several customer markets. The plant, which will produce about 30 t/d of liquid hydrogen, will join the company's existing hydrogen and syngas production operations, as well as an air separation unit. Operations are expected to begin in 2021.
