Oklahoma City-The board of Envia Energy has decided to suspend operations at its new gas-to-liquids (GTL) facility in Oklahoma City, Okla., and undertake a review of strategic alternatives (PCN, 21 May 2018, p 4). "The decision was driven by financial circumstances following a leak at the plant, as announced on 15 May 2018," Envia noted. The ancillary coolant system has been identified as the root cause of the leak, rather than one of the two Fischer-Tropsch (FT) reactors, as originally believed.
