Mumbai— Birla Carbon said it will increase its carbon black production capacity by 150,000 t/y over the next 18 months with expansions in multiple regions. Specifically, it will raise carbon black capacities in Egypt and Italy before the end of the third quarter of 2018 through "significant" debottlenecking.
