Shell Developing Solar Power Plant At Its Chemicals Site in Moerdiik

Moerdiik-Shell said it is planning to develop a solar power plant at its Moerdijk chemicals site in the Netherlands, one of Europe's "largest" chemicals manufacturing sites. The power produced from the solar plant will be incor-porated in the energy consumption of Shell Moerdijk, the company noted. Construction is scheduled to begin this year. Cost of the project and a completion date were not dlisclosed.
