Marion-Evonik is planning to construct an additional line for compounding its Acrylite brand polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) at its Osceola, Ark., site. The expansion will nearly double the production capacity of the methacrylates business line for the specialty molding compounds produced there, Evonik noted. Completion and start-up of the additional line is planned for the first quarter of 2019.
