Qatar Petroleum Signs Agreement to Supply LPG. Naphtha to Long Son Petrochemicals

Doha-Qatar Petroleum (QP) has signed a 15-year agreement to supply up to 2-million t/y of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and naphtha to Long Son Petrochemicals (LSP) petrochemical complex being built in Vung Tau Province, Vietnam (PCN, 5 Mar 2018, p 1). "This agreement has a significant importance, as it is the first time that Qatar is selling LPG and naphtha on a long-term basis, as well as the first time that we are selling directly to Vietnam," noted QP President and Chief Executive Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi.
