Beijins-DuPont Clean Technologies has been awarded a contract by Shenghong Petrochemical Group Co. to supply a Stratco alkylation technology license, engineering and proprietary equipment for a new alkylation unit planned in Lianyun-gang City, Jiangsu Province, China. The unit, which will be part of Shenghong's grassroots petrochemical and refining facility, will be designed to produce 440,000 t/y of alkylate product. Start-up is planned for 2021.
