Celanese Ending Acetate Production At Manufacturing Plant in Ocotlan

Mexico City- Celanese announced it is further consolidating its global acetate manufacturing operations by initiating the shutdown of its manufacturing unit in Ocotlan, Jalisco, Mexico. The company plans to discontinue the production of acetate flake at the site, essentially ceasing all manufacturing operations at the facility by 31 Oct. 2019, it noted.
