Taixing-Arkema has finalized the acquisition of Jurong Chemical's 45% interest in their Taixing Sunke Chemicals acrylic monomers joint venture in China,making Arkema sole owner(PCN,12 Nov 2018,p 1).With this transaction,valued at around €70-million,Arkema”will support the growth of its customers in Asia and benefit from greater flexibility to run this business in a region which accounts for more than 50% of the global acrylic acid demand,”Arkema noted.
