Ludwisshafen- BASF has launched a new research center for catalysts and processes next to its ammonia lab at its Verbund site in Ludwigshafen, Germany. The pilot plant facility, operated by the Process Research & Chemical Engineering global research unit, houses automated experimental facilities for efficient process development and testing of new process catalysts, BASF noted.
