McDermott Awarded Contract from MOL For Olefins Conversion Technology Unit

Budapest-McDermott International has won a technology contract by MOL Petrochemicals for an Olefins Conversion Technology (OCT) unit at MOL's petrochemicals complex in Tiszaujva-ros, Hungary. The unit, which will utilize Lummus1 proprietary OCT and CDHydro Deisobutenizer, will have a production capacity of 100,000 t/y of polymer-grade propylene from steam cracker and refinery feedstocks. A schedule for the project was not given.
