Shanghai-Clariant announced the opening of a new specialty black masterbatches production facility in Guangzhou, China, to address "fast-growing" demand. The plant, which required an investment of CHF 5-million, will supplement existing supply from the company's facility in Taiwan, which has already been fully utilized. The project also included a state-of-the-art workshop and upgraded advanced lab.
